Irish Mythology by Celtic Journey
Carmen Garcia Carballeira, sole owner of Celtic Journey (www.celticjourney.ie) has designed last year a pack of cards about Irish mythology. Fulfilling the slogan of her company “Where art and Culture meet”, the figures present famous people like Cú Roí mac Dáire (king of Munster in the Ulster Cycle) or Cú Chulainn (an hero who appears in the same Cycle). The jokers are two Leprechauns and the suits are artefacts of the Irish culture: the harp, the Ardagh chalice, the Celtic helmet and the Tara broach. The illustrations are from original paintings and more Irish souvenirs are available from this company.
