Josh Cooley and Bill Presing, both Pixar storyboard artists, wanted to design a pin-up pack of cards for the San Diego Comic-con of 2010. 54 countries (or even more interesting places) from Texas to South pole through Monaco and the Bermuda triangle have been selected. Both artists did the cartoon-like illustrations. To make the pack consistent, they used line art and digital colouring, keeping in mind pin-up cards from the fifties. They also designed the box where a smiling stewardess presents the 54 girls. The result is appealing. Of course, this pack is full of stereotypes and I personally find most of them quite humorous.
